Membership and Gifts

The Cleveland International Piano Competition is a 501(c)(3) corporation that relies on contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations for funding.  The Competition is incorporated under the name Piano International Association of Northern Ohio (PIANO).

Individual membership in PIANO is $60 per year and is entirely tax-deductible.  Members have voting privileges, receive newsletters, attend receptions, receive discounts for some events and enjoy early purchase of Competition tickets.

Larger donations are the essential source for continued growth and excellence of the Competition and are recognized in publications such as newsletters and event programs.  Gifts made throughout the two-year budget cycle between Competitions are cumulative and end-of-cycle publication of donors represent total gifts made throughout the two years.
