Alexander Ullman, 25, studied at the Purcell School with William Fong, and the Curtis Institute of Music with Leon Fleisher, Ignat Solzhenitsyn, and Robert McDonald. He currently studies with Ian Jones and Dmitri Alexeev at the Royal College of Music in London. Mr. Ullman won first prizes at the 2013 Lagny-sur-Marne International Piano Competition (France), the 2012 Tunbridge Wells International Young Concert Artists Competition (U.K.), and the 2011 Franz Liszt International Piano Competition (Budapest). He also won second prize at the 2014 International Isidor Bajic Memorial Competition (Novi Sad, Serbia). Mr. Ullman has appeared as a soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Montréal Symphony Orchestra, the Oxford Philomusica, Southbank Sinfonia, and many others. His performances have been broadcast by BBC Radio 3, Radio France, and MDR Classic.
