Caroline is in her third year of studying piano under Professor Hung-Kuan Chen and Tema Blackstone at The Juilliard School’s Pre-College Division, where she also studies percussion as a secondary instrument. As the winner of the 2017 Juilliard Pre-College Concerto Competition, she performed Beethoven’s Concerto No. 1 with the Pre-College Symphony in Lincoln Center. Caroline has won numerous competitions, including the San Jose International Piano Competition, Los Angeles Young Musicians International Competition, and the Pacific Musical Society Competition. She has performed in Weill Hall of Carnegie Hall, Tilles Center in Long Island, Kohl Mansion in Burlingame, the Aspen Chapel, and other various venues, and was featured on The San Francisco Examiner, KTVU Channel 2 News, The Epoch Times, and New Tang Dynasty Television. Caroline has performed at the Pacific Musical Society’s 104th Annual Gala, the Chinese Music Teachers Association of Northern California’s Gala, and the Bear Valley Music Festival. With the El Camino Youth Symphony in 2016, Caroline performed Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Caroline has attended the Aspen Music Festival and School, [email protected] Chamber Music Institute, John Perry Academy Piano Festival, and the Colburn Music Academy Piano Festival.
