Daria Kameneva, 29, began her piano studies at the age of five. While still a student, she won several youth competitions and was consequently accepted to study at the Moscow Music College with Natalia Suslova. In 2006 she entered the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in the class of Stanislav Igolinsky. Ms. Kameneva won second prize and the chamber music prize at the 4th International Piano Competition (2008) in Almaty (Kazakhstan). In 2011 she won the first prize and the public prize at the European Piano Competition in France. In 2012 the German recording label Acousence released her disc of works by Brahms. In 2014 she won second prize in the 2nd International Chopin Competition in Canberra (Australia) as well as the 10th Chopin Golden Ring International Competition in Slovenia. Ms. Kameneva has performed solo and chamber music programs in Belgium, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Republic of Belarus, Spain, Sweden, and Ukraine.
