Ilya Kondratiev, 27, performs extensively as a soloist and in chamber music, appearing in well-known venues such as the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, Gasteig Munich, Palace of Arts Budapest, and the Great Hall of Tbilisi Conservatory. In 2009 he founded the Robert-Quintet chamber music ensemble, and has won awards in numerous competitions with the ensemble and as a soloist. These include grand prize at the 2013 Tbilisi International Piano Competition (Tbilisi, Georgia), second prize at the 2011 Franz Liszt Piano Competition (Budapest), and second prize at the 2010 Stasys Vainiūnas Chamber Music Competition (Vilnius, Lithuania). Mr. Kondratiev is a graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory and the Royal College of London. After recently winning the Beethoven Senior Intercollegiate Competition and the Chappell Medal Piano Competition, Mr. Kondratiev was granted a scholarship for the Artist Diploma Course at the Royal College, where he currently is continuing his education.
