Twenty-five-year-old Jong Hai Park is a student at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover under the tutelage of Arie Varie. He has been awarded prizes at many well-known competitions, including second prize at the 2015 Top of the World International Piano Competition (Tromsø, Norway). He was a finalist at the 2010 Queen Elisabeth International Competition (Belgium), where he also won a special prize for best young performer, and was a finalist at the 2012 Honens International Piano Competition (Calgary). Mr. Park has made frequent appearances with major orchestras, including the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra, Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra, National Orchestra of Belgium, and the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie. He has given recitals in Seoul’s Kumho Art Hall, Monnaie de Paris, and I’Oratoire du Louvre, and has been invited to perform at the Annecy Music Festival in France and Nordland Music Festival in Norway.
