Joo Hyeon Park, 28, holds degrees from the Yale School of Music. He is currently pursuing Performance Studies at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. His teachers include Hung-Kuan Chen, Claude Frank, and Arie Vardi. Mr. Park’s performances have taken him to many renowned concert halls and festivals in Europe and the U.S., including Teatro Salieri, Salzburger Schlosskonzerte, Mirabell Palace, Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, Stravinski Auditorium, Theatre des Champs-Élysées, the Kennedy Center, Sommerakademie Salzburg, Eric Satie Festival, and the Bodensee Musikfestival. He has appeared as a soloist with the Göttinger Symphony, Akademisches Orchester Leipzig, Musikkollegium Winterthur, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, Morocco Philharmonic Orchestra, and more. Recent competition awards include fourth prize at the 2015 Long Thibaud Crespin International Competition for Piano (Paris) and third prize at the 2015 Concours International de Piano de l’OPM (Morocco).
