Stephan began his piano studies at the age of eight. He currently studies with Michael Berkovsky at the Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy for Young Artists at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Stephan won second prize at the 2017 Yamaha USASU International Senior Piano Competition and first prize at the 2016 Academy Concerto Competition at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. He has performed in showcase recitals at the Royal Conservatory and the winners’ concert at the Yamaha USASU International Senior Piano Competition.
