Twenty-five-year-old Luka Okros is a graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory and the Royal College of Music. His teachers included Sergei Dorensky and Norma Fisher. Mr. Okros has won prizes at several important competitions, including first prize at the 2015 Valencia International Piano Competition (Spain), first prizes at both the Morocco Philharmonic International Piano Competition and the Piano Campus Competition (Cergy-Pontoise, France), and fourth prize at the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowiz (Kiev, Ukraine). He has performed in many of the world’s most recognized concert venues, including Carnegie Hall, where he debuted at age 18; Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, and the Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall in London; the Salle Cortot in Paris; the Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto; the Palau de la Música Valencia (Spain); and the Palau de la Música Catalana (Barcelona, Spain). He has also performed in Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Russia, Georgia, South Africa, Turkey, and Kazakhstan.
