Łukasz Krupiński, 24, began playing the piano at the age of five. He studied with Alicja Paleta-Bugaj and Konrad Skolarski at the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In 2015, he was a Semi-Finalist of the XVII International F. Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Mr. Krupiński has won awards at many competitions, including grand prix and two special awards at the 2013 Siberian International Chopin Piano Competition (Tomsk, Russia), first prize at the 2014 Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship Competition (Kraców, Poland), first prize at the 2015 International Piano Competition Chopin-Gesellschaft (Hannover), and first prize at the 2016 ClaviCologne International Piano Competition (Aachen, Germany). He has performed extensively in Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Belgium, France, Norway, Germany, Spain, Great Britain, Russia, China, Korea, and Australia. Mr. Krupiński is a three-time laureate of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Prize for remarkable artistic accomplishments (2013, 2014, 2015) and a recipient of the Krystian Zimerman Foundation Scholarship (2015).
