Yunqing Zhou, 27, was the first prize winner of the 2013 Gina Bachauer Piano Competition at The Juilliard School, and winner, along with seven performance prizes, of the 2013 Young Concert Artists International Auditions. These two achievements resulted in multiple awards, scholarships, and debut performances. Recent recital appearances include Saint Vincent College (LaTrobe, PA), the Center for the Arts (Natick, MA), the Lied Center (Lawrence, KS), and the Port Washington Library (NY). Mr. Zhou is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied with Gary Graffman and Robert McDonald. He is currently continuing his studies with Professor McDonald at The Juilliard School.
