Chelsea is a double major student at the Pre-College Division of The Juilliard School. She studies piano with Professors Hung-Kuan Chen and Tema Blackstone, and classical voice with Lorraine Nubar. She is a 2016-2018 Young Scholar of the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, a 2016-2017 U.S. Chopin Foundation Scholarship recipient, and a Fellow of the Artemisia Akademie at Yale. Chelsea has appeared as a soloist at Carnegie Hall, Harris Hall, Ishikawa Music Hall, and other venues. Her performances have been broadcast on WQXR’s “Young Artists Showcase,” and she was featured on NPR’s From the Top. Chelsea has performed with several orchestras, including the Fort Worth Symphony, the Tianjin Symphony (China), the Torun Symphony (Poland), and the Midwest Youth Artists Symphony Orchestra (Chicago). She also has participated in music festivals in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, where she studied with Arie Vardi, Tamas Ungar, and Paul Badura-Skoda.
